11 Tips to take care of your sarees

 

There’s no doubt that we ladies love sarees. No matter how much dashion changes the saree always remains a constant trend. But do you take proper care of your lovely sarees. In this article I am going to tell you the tips to take proper care of your sarees.

(1) Don’t wash colourful sarees along with other clothes in washing machine.

(2) Don’t soak them in washing powder for too long. Your saree colour will fade this way.

(3) It is better to dry-clean jari-sarees

(4) Synthetic sarees are easy to take care. It can be washed at home.

(5) Starch your cotton sarees and then press them.

(6) Cover jari-sarees with paper and put neem leaves in between. This will prevent insects.

(7) Cover embroidered sarees with muslin cloth

(8) Don’t put naphthalene balls between your silk sarees. This will harm the fabric. Cover them with brown papers

(9) Don’t sprinkle perfume on your jari and embroidered sarees; the jari loses its shine and becomes black.

(10) If oil spills on your saree then immediately sprinkle talcum powder on it and then brush it. With this trick there will be no stain on the saree.

(11) While pressing your saree spread a cotton cloth on it.

These small and easy tips and tricks will help you to take proper care of your beautiful sarees.
