Making of your very own Kitchen Garden
Nowadays, the way prices of vegetables are increasing fourfolds a day, and often many vegetables are coming with chemical products in the market, which is very harmful to health, why don't we make a small kitchen garden at home?
You don't need a lot of space to make a kitchen garden. If you want, you can use flower pots to make this, but if you've got a little space in your house, then it's better to make your kitchen garden there.
To do this, first, dig the ground and add manure, cow's dung, etc. Adding fertilizer makes the soil soft and fertile for the healthy growth of plants. After this, you can sow seeds in this. Make sure that you are not sowing the seeds too deep. You can determine the deepness by looking at the seed's thickness. Sowing very deep doesn't let the seed freeze in soil and makes it rot quickly.
Plants of cabbage, corn, onion, tomato, cauliflower, chili, and fruits shall be prepared first and then planted somewhere else.
After uprooting the plants, usually, they should be planted a bit far from each other so that the plants do not collide when they grow.
You shall plant radish, peas, corn, lady's finger, carrot, or some other leafy vegetables like coriander (dhania), turnip, fenugreek at the same place because you can't place them in any other place once they get uprooted.
Watermelon, tinda, cucumber, bitter gourd (karela), bottle gourd (lauki) shall also be grown at the same place. Plants of vegetables that have vines also can't be planted somewhere else once uprooted. In the rainy season, you need to make sure that they get support from a wall or a wooden fence, or else they'll get destroyed.
